MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME
MAIN TEXT: Proverbs 27:1—Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 26:13—The sluggard says, “There is a lion in the road! A lion is in the open square!”
Are you in the “I will do it later group?”, If you are contaminated with procrastination, you have to get that poison out of your system. The saying goes, “the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago; the next best time is now.” This is another bright and promising year, seize the opportunities now and stop pushing your success to a tomorrow that never comes.
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away (James 4:14). Maybe it’s your salvation in Christ, stop saying, I will surrender to Jesus Christ later. “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).
With just one breath, life can be gone; yet you dare to postpone and delay things unnecessarily just because of laziness or satanic manipulations. You are not promised tomorrow, so you must take heed today. Rise with a will to succeed. Stick on being positive. When God instructs, the power to accomplish that task goes with that instruction, don’t delay anymore.
