GOD KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING
MAIN TEXT: Psalm 33:11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Psalm 121:3-4 He will not let your foot be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
Beloved, God knows what He is doing. Let not your heart be troubled. Presently, turn off the anxiety trying to choke your testimony. And another interesting question to ask, do you know what you’re doing? There are moments that God turns disappointment to divine arrangements. Joseph was in the pits and surrounded by his envious brothers, but God wasn’t moved because He sent slave traders who delivered him from the pit.
The rejoicing or mockery of your enemies should not keep you in a corner, feeling frustrated and abandoned. The Almighty God should be where our faith must anchor. Satan cannot be smarter than our God. Let peace reign in your heart—you’re the best good news about to happen in your family. What you see or feel doesn’t override what God sees about you.
In the making of a glorious man, God doesn’t need those material things that keep us restless. So, with this truth, we should be rest assured that He knows what He is doing. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. The place of your disappointment will become your place of honor.
PRAYER: I believe in the workings of God, I may not understand it now, but I know that everything will end in my favor and the praise of God in Jesus’ name, Amen. I will arrive at my divine destination.
