REWARD FOR SERVICE
Main text: Revelation 22: 12 – Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
Romans 2:6 – God will give to each person according to his works.
Reward among other definitions is the result or price of an action while service is the act of rendering assistance to someone or a group of people. The earth and everything in it belongs to God. Everyone here on earth is here at the instance of God and that is why he expects us to serve him. You can serve God in his house with your money, by devoting your time, energy and intellect to serve Him.
Jesus said “whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers that, you do unto me”. Knowing this therefore, you should be careful on the quality of service you render to God because His reward is in his hands that he will reward everybody according to the type of service they rendered to him.
For your service to be rewarded, how you render it matters a lot. God does not reward a service that is not acceptable to him. You must have a personal relationship with God to obtain His reward. Beloved, decide today to leave your comfort zone and serve God irrespective of your financial status, intellect, old or young. God is in need of your service, he said that the field is ripe but the laborers are few. You should endeavour to be the laborer God is looking for. No laborer goes home without a reward. God wishes us life. I know today, you will choose to render good service to God and be wonderfully rewarded.
GIVE A QUALITY SERVICE TO GOD AND YOUR REWARD WILL BE GREAT BOTH IN HEAVEN AND HERE ON EARTH.
