VICTORY IS MINE
Main text: 1 Corinthians 15:57 – “Thanks’ Be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”.
Deuteronomy 20:4 – For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
Victory is about perception and preparation. Before David won Goliath in the arena, he defeated him in his perception and orientation which he had gathered from the word of God. Before the ten (10) spies met the Anakites in actual battle, they had assured themselves that they cannot win the battle because of their perception and orientation. Victory also is about actions, when there is right perception conditioned upon the word of God and good action towards any endeavour, success becomes inevitable. The Bible calls it ‘Triumphant Entry’ because Jesus Christ had finished the work the Father gave Him. He had triumphed. Jesus has already worked for our victory.
Jesus said ‘Be of courage, I have overcome the world’ (John 16:33). This is the word of a man that have taken actions and showed intense tenacity. Jesus handed us the Victory when He overcame at the cross. The devil knows this. He knows what you stand to gain with a relationship with Jesus Christ so he comes to sow the seed of fear in you to deceive you out of the promises of God for your life. A word from God today can make you a victor.
Rise up and become the true victor God has created you to be. Exercise passion, press hard, press on, don’t go back, and don’t look back. When the word of God says yes, stand on that Yes; know who you are and to the Glory of God, victory is yours.
YOU ARE NOT A LOSER, YOU ARE A VICTOR.
Prayer Point: Father, help me maintain a positive mind-set at all time that my victory will manifest in the physical.
