SEE PEOPLE AS GOD SEES THEM
MAIN TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 3:3
“ For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not in tables of stone but in fleshy tables of the heart”.
Judges 6:16 – And the Lord said unto him, surely I will be with thee and thou shall smite the midianites as one man.
When we consider some of the people Jesus called to be His disciples, the word “dysfunctional” comes to mind. But Jesus was not put off. Like finding treasure in the trash. Jesus was able to see their potentials. He drew it out, and developed it. This is our story too. We are not yet perfect but by God’s grace, as we continually relate with Christ and his glory rubs off on us, we are changed from glory to glory. Paul writes that we are a letter from Christ written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God”. Other people don’t write your story even you don’t. The Spirit of the living God has written it. That means our best days are still ahead.
God is the potter and we are the clay and by the day, He moulds us into better shape to meet and fit for his use and God expects that we see and treat others the same way He sees and treats us, with love, understanding, forgiving us, and instructs us daily no matter our weaknesses. His grace is sufficient to help us.
APPRECIATE THE POTENTIALS IN OTHERS.
Prayer point- Oh God, help me to see others the way you see them for my blessings and favour.
