THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD
MAIN TEXT: 1 Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
Joshua 4:24 – That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.
The hand of the Lord is so mighty, so big, so long, and so strong. As believers, all we actually need is the hand of God in every of our affairs to excel. In the soccer world, reference is made to a unique goal scored by former Argentina footballer: Diego Maradona. The goal seemed so impossible that when the player was asked, he said it was the hand of God that made it possible.
The hand of God is that invisible force that makes the impossible, possible. We are made strong by God’s mighty hands. Our human might is only a vapor. There are so many references made about the mighty hand of God in scriptures and what His mighty hand can do. In 2 Chron. 30, we see the uniting hand of God. Nehemiah 2:8 we see the providing hand of God.
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt. What is that problem you are going through? Hand it over to God, put it in the mighty hand of God, for that is where you can find solution, protection, deliverance, provision and strength.
THE HAND OF GOD IS MIGHTY TO SAVE.
Prayer point- I decree that the mighty hand of God will deliver me from all troubles of life.
