WORK BLESSES A MAN
MAIN TEXT: GENESIS 2:5
“There was not a man to till the ground”.
PROVERBS 16:3- Commit thy works unto the Lord and your thoughts shall be established
The Bible says, “The Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth and there was not a man to till the ground. At the beginning of creation, God caused a mist to come up from the earth and water the ground. Before that time, there had been no down pour from the heavens.
God made everything and He was satisfied but He still knew that there was work and more work to do by man. Quite alright, He did all he wanted to do but the bible still recognized that there was no man to “till the ground”. Does it mean that God did not do a complete or perfect work? Would you say that God would have done everything so that we will just come to enjoy the already-made world?
In the presence of God and His grace, there is still some work to be done by us. The presence of God does not make any man lazy or careless rather it makes the works to be done easy to do them. Prophecy and prayers do not mean that you will sit and wait for God to do everything for you.
There are things that God has planned to do, and has made the provisions but He won’t until you get into place where you can receive what belongs to you.
EVEN WHEN GOD IS WORKING, HE NEEDS YOU
Prayer point- Oh God prosper the works of my hands exceedingly
