GOD STILL ANSWERS PRAYERS
MAIN TEXT: ISAIAH 59:1
“Behold the hand of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear”.
“It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear”. Isaiah 65:24.
We always pray for God’s intervention in our cases but not ready to follow God’s precepts and to harken to His voice. After deviating from His instructions, we still expect Him to answer our prayers as fast as possible when we call on Him. The scripture above made it clear that the hand of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save, neither His ear.
Brethren, when you look into the Bible, you will see so many people who encountered God in time of trouble, because they were obedient and humble. God never failed to answer them whenever they called on Him. God is always at your door post to answer your prayers when you acknowledge your mistakes and come unto Him in submission. Remember there is an enemy to us that breaches the relationship between us and Him, and that is sin.
The Bible says that “sin” is a reproach, a hindrance to the children of God. Never allow the power of sin to overshadow the spirit-man in us. Don’t think God does not answer prayer but believe that He is too mighty to save depending on your relationship with Him. God is not deaf; He is a covenant keeping God. He cannot promise and not fulfill it.
DO NOT LOSE FAITH FOR THAT MIRACLE TO HAPPEN.
