THE EFFICACIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
MAIN TEXT: HEBREW 9:12 ―Neither by the blood of goats and calves but by His own blood, He entered in once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us.‖
Hebrew 12:24 ―And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel‖.
The word efficacious in the oxford dictionary means: to be effective, to produce the result meant for it to produce. Throughout the history of man, blood has been recognized and used as the irreversible seal of all covenants and human association.
Blood is a binding force of covenant. The life of all flesh is in the blood. The blood was the life (Leviticus 17:11). There is tangible power in the blood of Jesus. It is God‘s last card. It is the believers‘ stronghold. The blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God was shed on Calvary and completely shields and covers the believers. ―And they overcome him by the blood of the lamb—Rev 12:11. God has nothing extra to offer after the Blood.
The blood of Jesus is the divine provision for man‘s freedom from every satanic attack. It is a singular devastating weapon against Satan. If the Spirit of death could stay off the children of Israel on whose lintels the blood of a Lamb was shed, how much more for believers, who carry the Blood of Jesus Christ residing on the inside.
The efficacious blood of Jesus Christ is to be applied against the wicked plans of the enemy. If the enemy is out day and night against you, you should be out day and night too with your weapon- The blood of Jesus Christ.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS THE SEAL OF VICTORY IN EVERY CONFLICT OF LIFE
