HE IS COMING BACK AGAIN
MAIN TEXT: 2 Peter 3:14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
When you think about the Lord’s second coming, what is the attitude of your heart? Are you looking with anticipation for the return of the Lord Jesus? He is coming as the glorious and reigning King. Get ready so that you won’t join in the morning but in the rejoicing.
What about the dead in Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13,14)? Those Christians who have died before us – They are alive – just as Jesus is alive! Christ’s death provided salvation for the soul. Christ’s resurrection provided salvation for the body! They are coming again with Jesus in the clouds.
Jesus has conquered death for us – by trusting Him, you have no need to fear it anymore! He removed the stinger of death! He has passed that victory on to all who believe in Christ. Therefore! Get saved today ! Get steadfast and serve God.
STAY READY FOR THE COMING CHRIST
PRAYER: I will never miss heaven and my rewards. Lord Jesus Christ, show me your mercy over my sins and grant me eternal life in Jesus’ name Amen
