I AM RESTORED FULLY
MAIN TEXT: JOEL 2:25
“And I will restore to you the years that the Locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”
Isaiah 49:15
“Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”
Our God is sovereign over all things. He holds supreme power and authority over all creation, yet He is a merciful God. He is Love personified. Recovering all is by the power of God, that returns or makes someone to recover all that he had previously lost. The recipient is returned to a perfect condition, like the healing of a wound without leaving a scar.
As seen in the main text, God showcased His power to do the impossible by declaring to the children of Isreal complete recovery of the years lost to fruitlessness, wasted efforts and captivity. This led them into a new era of joy, peace and prosperity that did not come by their labour. Rather, God blocked every source of losses in their lives.
God is a restorer of lost souls, a recover of all that was lost. He does this with so much compassion and completeness for anyone who calls upon His name. The book of psalm 30:5b says “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”. The laughter that is most desirable is the one that comes last. “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof” (Ecclesiastics 7:8a) The devil is the primary figure behind the attacks and loses one encounters in life but we must rely on divine intervention from God, who says, call upon me in trouble and I will deliver you.
Beloved, if you call on God and come to Him in that your heavy ladened situations, He will make you to recover all in Jesus Name. Amen.
