GOD’S WORD; NO EXPIRATION 1
MAIN TEXT: Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God will stand forever.
Mark 13:31 – Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not…
It is a truism that the word of God endures forever, having at all times and in all seasons the same excellence and efficacy. It does not come with an expiration date nor does it come back void, but it accomplishes its purpose. Likewise, it is not relative to time, place, or culture, but God’s word stands true.
If we can trust our finances in companies run and built by imperfect human beings, then we should do more with the word of God, even the promises of God given to us and our destinies. 1 Peter 1:25 tells us that everything else fades except the word of God – it is infallible.
Everything that God does is possible by His word. He is His word, and He has remained the Almighty Reigning God, then His word can save us, and we can trust it with our life because the same power will work for us. All things created by God were done with His word, and He gave us this WORD – the maker. This is the greatest gift given to the Christian believer by God. The power to reign and control all things created is in your hands and heart. Use it.
GOD’S WORD IS ETERNAL AND STANDS FIRM – NEVER CHANGING
PRAYER – O Lord, give me the zeal to continually feed on your living word in Jesus name, Amen
