NEVER DROP YOUR SPIRITUAL ARMOUR

MAIN TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:10—Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might

EPHESIANS 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Spiritual Armour is the weapon of our warfare, which enables every Christian to conquer the enemy (devil) in the battlefield (Spiritual battle).Praise the Lord ! He is my Rock. He prepares me for war. He trains me for battle—Psalm 144:1.

In other words, no Christian can win the spiritual-physical battle of life without it. Have you ever seen a warrior without a weapon of warfare? It’s never possible: The same is applicable to us. Don’t drop your spiritual armor, Child of God, this life is a battlefield.

These spiritual weapons or armor are loins girt with truth (belt of truth); breastplate of righteousness, shoes with the preparation of the gospel of peace which allows us to be ready to share God with others at all times as you cannot tell where an opportunity may arise to share the good news of the gospel with someone else.

More so, the shield of faith keeps us unshakable in believing in God and seeing ourselves as conquerors in the face of troubles of life, while the helmet of salvation and the sword of Spirit (word of God) brings us closer to God as we guide the gift of salvation and speak/use the word of God at all cost.

Finally, when you drop the spiritual armor, you lose the protective clothing and the impact of projectiles or other weapons that may be used against you in battles of life will hit you directly. Dropping one means dropping all.

SALVATION ENROLLS US INTO THE ARMY OF CHRIST

PRAYER: Oh Lord God, I need the power to hold tightly my weapons and teach me how best to use them. I will not lose my battles in Jesus name, Amen.
