MAIN TEXT: Daniel 6:21-22 “Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”
1 Kings 19:7-8 And the angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.” And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God.”
Angels are spiritual beings, with the spiritual responsibility of coming to the aid of the Christian. What an honor we have got in the kingdom of God. Every child of God must recognize and as well appreciate God for the ministry of angels in his/her life. Angels are always at work ensuring our safety, provisions, and support. In this New Year, God has released angels with the mandate to cause you to excel beyond limits.
Daniel was thrown into the den of lions, but God sent His angels to arrive into the den before Daniel and they shut the mouths of the devourers—I pray that you will not be destroyed by the attacks of your enemies. When Prophet Elijah became weary and discouraged, God sent His angel and God fed him a miraculous meal that sustained and encouraged him. This will be your story.
God doesn’t want any of His children to feel fear or be perturbed because His angels have been sent to take charge of us, as can be read in Psalm 91. Angels heed the voice of God’s Word. This means that they move and work in response to God’s Word. With the word of God, we can put our angels to work for us. Wherever you go, please keep in mind that your angels are with you.
ANGELS ARE ALWAYS AT YOUR SERVICE
PRAYER: Oh Lord, my God, give charge to my angels to be at work in my life this year. Let your angels take over the year’s battles and bring back victories on every side in Jesus’ name, Amen.
