MIRACLES, OUT OF NOWHERE
MAIN TEXT: John 6:9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
Matthew 14:20—They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
In this miracle of feeding the multitude and making the boy to go home with more loaves and fishes, the boy did not pray for multiplication. Rather the favor of God picked him out of the multitude, imagine the population that was present, and this insignificant boy was located. May God’s light of favor shine upon your life, specially this year.
The boy handed over his meal. This was certainly an act of trust and sacrifice. But the boy did not feed the five thousand. Nor did the disciples feed the five thousand. The boy and the disciples were simply participants. The people were fed by Jesus. The boy did not know what would happen, also he didn’t get a promise of another lunch pack, but God made him bigger than he came.
Where people go and are rejected, will be your places of outstanding honors and favor. Miracles that have not come into your imaginations will meet with you right there you are. As the boy did not pray for the Miracle, let God do for you beyond your prayers. Miracles are still happening out of nowhere, and you will be the person to receive it.

PRAYER: O God of miracles, visit me and surprise me with unmerited favors in Jesus’ name, Amen.
