STUDYING GOD’S WORD

MAIN TEXT: HEBREWS 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Joshua 1:8—Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

It’s our love for God that moves us to know more about Him and to interact with Him. If you don’t feel like reading your Bible or can’t see evidence that God’s Word is changing you, always remember its power and trust that the Holy Spirit is faithful to work and bring life through the reading of His Word. Remember that God’s word was written to reveal the heart of God to you.

Spending quality time with God’s word brings transformation and empowers us supernaturally. Our motive for studying the Bible matters a lot. The major reason should be to have fellowship with God, and all other blessings will follow us. Many people open their Bible only when the enemies are after them, this is not the best.

Your name may not be mentioned in the bible, but a careful study will reveal your life in it as God has patterned it. The more you know about God, the greater revelation and manifestation of yourself happen. Don’t joke with God’s word, and it’s not another design to be kept in your bookshelves. Study it.

PLAN YOUR LIFE WITH GOD’S WORD

PRAYER: Father God, give me a teachable spirit and give me a deeper and more profound understanding of your word from today in Jesus’ name, Amen.
