UNSHAKABLE FAITH

UNSHAKABLE FAITH

MAIN TEXT: Daniel 3:17, 18…Our God, is able to deliver us from the burning fury furnace…. But if not, be it known to you…that we shall not serve your god.

Hebrew 10:36 – For you have need of endurance, so that you may do that will of God and receive what is promised.

Unshakable faith is exemplified when a Christian demonstrates firmness for God without compromise even in the face of challenge. Faith can be personal or collective. Personal faith is the one inculcated through the word of God as you grow in it, after establishing a personal relationship with God while collective faith is the faith generally shared by people of the same belief or church. Do you know that the member of the same church shares the same faith? This is why every believer should ensure that he belongs to a bible believing church, where the word of God is preached. The opposite of unshakable faith is an abuse of faith, and whenever you leave your “good” church to pursue signs and wonders, “where it is happening”, you are abusing your faith.

In our main text for today, Daniel and his friends demonstrated unshakable faith. What is spectacular about this faith was that they understood God so well that they knew that sometimes, God does not answer according to “when” or “how” and from the angle we expect because His ways and thoughts are different from our (Isa. 55:8) but certainly He does not fail. So whenever we are in a difficult place, we don’t help ourselves by looking for the easy way out, instead by demonstrating an unshakable faith in God and facing the challenge, we can battle our way through the problem.

UNSHAKABLE FAITH IS ALWAYS EVIDENT BY WHAT FOLLOWS- A LIFE OF GOOD WORKS

Prayer point – I conquer all my battles by faith and I receive my blessings by faith in Christ Jesus.
