PRAY ALL TIMES
Main Text: Luke 18:1- Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. (KJV)
Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to the end with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (KJV)
Praying is not an obligation but an instruction and demand from God to all Christians. The perception that we should pray only when we need a favour from God is wrong. Prayer is a form of communication and dialoging with God. God wants us to fellowship with Him. He wants to communicate with us. Psalm 65:2 – “O you who hear prayer, to you all flesh will come”.
When we pray, we create an atmosphere of positive change in our lives. God wants us to always pray in order to step into our lives to cause miracles to happen to us. Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear”.
In the very valley you find yourself, do not resort to complaining or murmuring but it is a time to pray. James 5:13a – “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray”. When you pray, listen to hear what the spirit of God will say to you. He always wants to speak but many times we are too quick to get up from prayers.
IF YOU KNEEL BEFORE GOD, YOU WILL STAND BEFORE MEN.
Prayer Point: Help me oh Lord, to first pray in every situation I find myself to hear what you have to say.
