HUSBANDS LOVE YOUR WIFE
MAIN TEXT: EPHESIANS 5: 25 (KJV)
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”
Colossians 3:14 – And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
For peace, and harmony to reign in our families and society at large, the biblical injunctions must be obeyed to the latter. The family is the nucleus by which the society is formed. Every member of the family, Father, Mother, Children, all have a vital role to play for proper functioning of the family.
Husbands must love their wives, wives must be submissive to their husbands, and children must obey their parents. (Ephesians 5:25).
Ephesians 6:1. “Any breach of this law, and commandment of God, brings about problems in the home”.
Wives must make it easy for their husbands to love them by exhibiting godly, and good conduct. Husbands must of a necessity love their wives; is a must and is compulsory. Husbands examine your lives today. Do you truly love your wives? If you don’t, you must repent today.
If there is no humility before your spouse, fighting and quarreling is inevitable. It is not every word that you must answer. Deal with them with a wave of hand and do not count wrongs if you need a good home.
IT IS YOU THAT WILL MAKE YOUR GOOD HOME.
