THE FINGER OF GOD IS UPON ME
Main Text: Psalm 8:3 – When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place.
Exodus 8:19 – The magicians said to Pharaoh, ‘this is the finger of God.’ But Pharoah’s heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the Lord has said.
The finger of God represents God in action in the life of His children. Have you taken your time to observe the firmament and how they suspend without pillars holding them? how a human forms in the belly of his mother? how God took his time to arrange the human system etc. All signifies the finger of God at work. God is mighty to deliver His children from every impending danger.
Just as He delivered the children of israel from the hands of Pharoah.
When the finger of God is present in a man’s life, he goes through life everyday with ease. All he obtains comes by favour not struggle. The Israelites were God’s own people and He was determined to bring them to their place of rest. God dealt with the wicked and it cost him his first son, kingdom and life.
When the finger of God is upon you, He goes out to protect you and to bring you to your place of rest. God is our helper in times of need.
GOD’S FINGER IS MIGHTIER THAN ANY FORCES OF DARKNESS AT WORK.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that your finger rest upon my life today so that I can go through life without struggles and hard labor. Distinguish me for honor in the place shame in Jesus’ name, Amen.
