DON’T GO BLACK OUT
MAIN TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 30:6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
EXODUS 33:14 – And he said, My presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest.
In the time of trouble , distress and hopeless situation how do you react and whom do you look up to for help?
The greatest encouragement you can receive is the one you give to yourself. Your ability not to give up with only one reason even when you have millions of reasons to do so, makes you a victor!.
From our anchor text, David encouraged himself in the Lord even when all he had was taken from him and people around him troubled him. And at the end, God restored back all that he lost.1 Samuel 30:8,19.
A lot of people have missed their long awaited miracles at the point they gave up on themselves and God.
Beloved, God (The Giver Of Rest) is too faithful to fail you; It doesn’t matter the ugly troubling waters that confronted you as it seems you are left alone at the middle of the road, He understands and will bring rest or solution to it if only you don’t go black out.
THE FUTURE IS ALWAYS BRIGHTER THOUGH YOU MAY NOT SEE IT BUT HOLD ON.
Prayer:
Oh Lord May I never faint at the point of your visitation, Amen
