EMMANUEL – GOD WITH US

MAIN TEXT: MATTHEW 1:23
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Beloved of God always remember that one of the names of Jesus Christ is Emmanuel, which means “God with us” as seen in our main text. You have no reason to feel abandoned or neglected if Jesus Christ is your Master and Lord. He says Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Stay with Christ, so that He will stay with you. The devil wants you to feel that you are alone and abandoned, but it is a lie. We are assured in Matthew 28:20 that even though the Master has gone away to be with His Father, He did not leave us without a comforter, who is the Holy Spirit.

The work of the Holy Spirit includes reproof concerning sin, encouragement into a life of righteousness and giving sound judgment in difficult situations etc. He is to guide us into all truth, which includes the truth that we are not alone; neither can we be deserted or abandoned. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ in our lives by doing what only Christ can do in and through us.
I encourage you to keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Apostle Paul declared in Philippians 4:13 that “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me”.

The discovery of this truth should convince every Child of God how important it is to focus on the one who alone can help us accomplish what is humanly difficult or impossible to do. We are created in His image and likeness to have dominion (Genesis 1:26). The knowledge of who we are as partakers of God’s divine nature only becomes clearer when we focus on Jesus.

GOD NEVER ABANDONS AND HE WILL LEAD YOU THROUGH ALL CHALLENGES

Prayer: Holy Spirit Divine, Please help me to remain ever in tune with my Master Jesus for unbroken relationship.
