BE A GOOD LISTENER
Main Text: Isaiah 55:3 – Incline your ear, and come unto me, hear and your soul shall live and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Jeremiah 7:24 – But they hearkened not, nor inclined thine ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
God speaks to his children on daily basis, it is only those who are sensitive to the spirit that can hear the voice of God, It comes through so many ways as follows- the gospel ministrations on television and on the radio, revelations, visions, prophecies and the bible. There are some people who still hear from God but choose to what they feel like doing which is a sin of disobedience to God.
Be a good listener means hearing and obeying what God is speaking at every moment in time, whether it looks foolish because the world is coming to an end, listening to God’s voice can prevent you from falling into so many challenges and fearing problem even though they come. The voice of God is a guide, it may be that the voice came to inform you about what is to happen or when it will come, nothing else can shake you, because you have being informed a head of time.
Listen to the instructions and follow it. God instructed and gave plans to his people in the scripture and they did according to his will and succeeded in their own time. God is still speaking, how many of us are ready to hear his voice and do according to his instructions, remember. He is the master planner of our destiny.
