PRAY FOR YOUR PASTORS
Main text: Hebrews 13:18 – Pray for us, for we trust, we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
Jeremiah 3:15 – And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Always remember your pastors in prayer, for they are ordained by God for a divine and special assignment of which the grace must be made sufficient and available for them. Many pastors have lost their faith and hope in God because they are not ready to endure the cross, some are discouraged to work because of problems of life while there are those that sin has destroyed.
The bible says you must endure holiness; the cross comes before the crown of life and upliftment. We are to pray for them fervently so that devil will not be glorified in their lives because a disgrace to the leader is a disgrace to the followers. Most times Pastors leave their problems and are always ready to sacrifice to make sure all is well with their members (the church of Christ).
It is God that increases them in wisdom, knowledge, understanding to grow spiritually and to be able to face any attack from different corners. They have no power of their own, the number of temptation and trails they pass through cannot be numbered but the Lord delivers them from all.
HE THAT CARES FOR A PASTOR, CARES FOR GOD
Prayer Point: Oh God let our pastor’s glory in the cross of Jesus Christ. Enrich them with gift, word and power and fruit in Jesus name Amen.
