NO BARGAIN WITH THE DEVIL
Main Text: 2 Timothy 2:26 – And that they may come to their sense and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Philippians 2:10 – that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth
Many Christians have bargained with the devil and forfeited their souls in the process. Satan promises them sinful pleasure while assuring them through his false ministries that they will nevertheless inherit the kingdoms of God. The devil is a liar and they father of lies. Our problem is that; like Adam and Eve, we believe Satan’s lies. And when we do, our loyalty to God is compromised.
The devil’s greatest weapon is deception. Though the Bible depicts him as a deal maker, yet the Bible did not give any support to the notion that people did make a deal with the devil. Some people have attempted to make deals with unilaterally, pledging themselves to Satan in hope to receiving some special favour back from him. This is too dangerous!
However, the bible calls him the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Let it not be you!. Safeguard your soul diligently with the truth lest you fall a victim and be lost forever!
SHUN THOSE LIES FROM THE DEVIL
Prayer Point: I rebuke every satanic suggestion in my mind and I give my mind to the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
