JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH

JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH

Main Text: Romans 5:1

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 4:2- If Abraham were justified, by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Many the grace of Jesus Christ bound in us continually, Amen. There is good news today; the word justification from the biblical context is God’s act of removing the guilt and penalty of sin from a sinner and at the same time making the sinner righteous through Christ’s atoning sacrifice.

Jesus Christ died on the cross, not because He wanted to die but He took our place in condemnation and judgment of sin. He did not really die rather He put to death our sins and its penalty thereby making us free forever which is the major reason He said on the cross, “It is finished” – John 19:30.

Apostle Paul preached about this glorious blessing of Christ to us and added that it can only be received through faith. It calls for a continuous faith in the Lordship and salvation of Christ and also in the finished work of Christ on the cross. This faith will lead us to a walk with Christ. Neglecting Jesus Christ any day puts us back in the bondage and condemnation of sin.

BELIEVE AND WALK IN THE JUSTIFICATION THROUGH CHRIST

Prayer Point – I believe that Christ justified me, I refuse to be entangled again to bondage and shame in Jesus name.
