THE DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

THE DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

MAIN TEXT:     MALACHI 3: 16 (KJV)

“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another; and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his Name”

Psalm 106:4- Remember me, o Lord, in your favour toward your people, visit me with your salvation.

God does not forget labours of love, rather he rewards good works. Records of all good works, and even bad works are kept by the Angels. The prayer of any child of God, should be that he/she should be remembered for good works and to be rewarded. Judas, Herod, Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Jezebel, Ahab, to mention but a few are remembered for evil works, and today, people hardly bear such names as Jezebel or Judas etc. if we as humans have a sense of remembrance, how much more does God have. (Malachi 3: 17-18).

We should not be weary in well doing for at the appropriate time of God, we shall be remembered, and equally rewarded. Don’t be discouraged by those who do not show a sense of gratitude towards good woks done to them. If king Ahasuerus could not sleep for the sake of Mordecai (Esther 6 vs 30), how much more will the Almighty God not sleep for our sake for our good works.

LET YOUR GOOD WORKS BE REMEMBERED TODAY.

Prayer Point:“Oh God remember me for my good works today and bless me in Jesus Name”.
