GOOD COMMUNICATION

GOOD COMMUNICATION

MAIN TEXT:     1 CORINTHIANS 15: 33 (KJV)

Be not deceived, evil communication corrupts good manners”

Psalm 37:30 – The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom and his tongue speaks justice.

The word of God in proverbs 10:19-20 says “In the multitude of words, there wanteth not sin; but he that refraineth his lips is wise. The tongue of the just is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth”.

We are ensnared by what we say. The bible refers to the tongue in James 3:8 as “a restless evil”. Good communication is required if we must live a spirit filled life and affect our generation for Jesus. What do we say to each other? Does it promote or encourage each other in the faith? When we habour ill-feelings against one another, it reflects in our communication. You cannot speak well of one you hate, but it will be very difficult to speak ill of one you always pray for and love.

May our word be choice silver and healing to the souls of the hearers, that way we will be communicating in a godly and good manner.

Our words can stop a destiny, it can deliver a nation. God is interested in our words because we must account for them. Someone can become a president of a country by your words of wisdom and encouragement.
