BELIEVE THE WORD
Main text: 1Thessalonians 2:13- For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because when he received the word of God which he heard of us, he received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God which effectively works the also in you that believe.
John 20:31-But these are written that he might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and that believing he might have life through his name.
To believe in the bible means more than simply agreeing in our minds that something might be true. It means “trust”-that we believe so much in God that we are willing to commit our lives to Him and live the way we know He wants us to live. Jesus Christ is the word of God.
The bible says, I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me, believe you can do all the word of God says about you. Believing in the word comes from having a living relationship with the living God. Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them (Mark 11:24).
As children of God, we are expected to believe the word of God completely, without doubts, without allowing the situations of life or happenings around us, make us lose trust in God. Hebrews 11:6 says but without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarded it them that diligently seek him.
Hold on to His word, because He has overcome the world (John16:33)
LET THE WORD OF GOD DWELL RICHLY IN YOUR HEART, AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING HE SAYS CONCERNING YOU.
Prayer point: Lord, grant me the grace to believe your word like Abraham did. Let your word profit me this year
