FOCUS ON GOD
Main Text: Hebrew 12: 2 – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Isaiah 26:3- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Focus is a state where you have your total attention on something. Focus is when you are looking or gazing on what is of paramount importance to you. As a child of God, focus on God, don’t focus on the adversary. No matter what you go through, stay in faith, be your best each day and trust that God will use it to position you for greatness.
When you focus on God, you have peace of mind despite the raging storm and turbulence. Focusing on God helps us to develop our relationship with God and man, it helps you grow spiritually. “Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2).
As Christians, we are obliged to focus on God and His word. You may have fallen down, but you don’t have to stay down. God is ready, willing and able to pick you up. When you focus on giants, you stumble but when you focus on God, giants stumble. Nothing done with the focus on God is ever a waste of time.
When you focus on the problems around you, you will drown but when you focus on God despite the problems, victory is sure.
FOCUS ON THE ONE WHO HAS THE BLUE PRINT OF YOUR LIFE,
Prayer point: Lord, help me to keep my eyes on you daily for my peace and satisfaction in Jesus name.
