FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING
MAIN TEXT – 2 THESSALONIANS 2:15
Therefore, Brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by words of mouth or by letters.
HEBREWS 10:23
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)
We have to be deeply rooted in the word of God because this will give us an unshakable faith. Every man at one time or the other faces storms of life. This could come in the form of trials, temptations, tribulations, or persecutions; you may be faced with financial squeeze, health or marital issues, you could be falsely accused and victimized of doing something you did not do, men may hate you just because you are a child of God whose ways no longer conform to theirs.
This will make us to know what God has said concerning any situation and also know that tribulations and trials have always been there from time passed and that all who were firmly rooted in God overcame and you will be encouraged.
The knowledge of the word of God should not be merely head knowledge but our way of life. In the face of these storms, we should remember to tell God what we are passing through and ask Him to intervene and deliver us. We must at this point remember what God has done for us in the past to help us and be encouraged that He will do it again.
STAND FIRM ON THE WORD OF GOD, IT WILL KEEP YOU
