Set your face towards God
Main Text: Hebrews 12:2a Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Have we ever asked ourselves why our prayers atimes are not answered? It is because so many believers of Christ, leave the right way to follow and do the opposite while they know the truth. They get influenced by what they see, hear and touch which are the physical and carnal things. To set our face towards God is not by only praying but doing or exhibiting all that is being commanded by the Lord through the scriptures. Give your totality, wholeness to Christ not looking back to avoid distraction and other worldly things that will bring you down spiritually.
Pretense has been the order of the day in our service of God. People are carried away by the spirit of eye service to satisfy human needs and request. Whatsoever thing you do, there should be unison of spirit, body and soul as to attract God’s abundant blessing. Do not behave like lot’s wife who because of the things of the World lost focus and became a pillar of salt till today. God’s plan for mankind is to excel in our serve of him not experiencing retrogression in it Love God, not things in the world.
