FEBRUARY 9 SATURDAY
TOPIC: THE FINAL JUDGEMENT
MAIN TEXT: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to shame and everlasting contempt – Daniel 12:2 (KJV)
Second text: For he will not lay upon men more than right – that he should enter into judgement with God – Job 34:23 (KJV)
Beloved, be reminded that at on the final day, God will judge all sinners on earth. Sinners also refer to the believers or Christians who may have fallen from faith.
This judgement will be presided over by Jesus Christ and it will be an assessment of how the sinners lived their lives here on earth – Acts 4:30-31 (KJV). This judgement is for the wicked who rejected the gospel of salvation from Jesus Christ.
Oh! What a terrifying thing to imagine. This judgement will cut across all ages, gender, young and order devoid of class. The question is: Are you going to face this judgement? Why not examine your life today?
Surrender your life and everything within you to our Lord Jesus Christ. And if you have given your life to Him, is the life that you are living praise worthy?
Now is the time return to God and make amends because after death, judgement follows – Hebrews 9:27. There is no repentance in the grave because the judgement will be based on the activities while on earth.
Reconcile to God today and accept Jesus Christ into your life.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to run this Christian race with fear and trembling and to end well so that, I may obtain a prize.
