MARCH 3 SUNDAY
OPERATE IN THE SUPERNATURAL
MAIN TEXT: John 3:8 (KJV) – „The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit’.
Second text: Revelation 4: 1 (KJV) – Come up hither and I will show you what must take place after now.
The supernatural realm is the realm beyond the natural. It is a realm beyond the reach of science, and beyond human comprehension.
The word “supernatural” means beyond and above the natural. This is where God operates. It is the realm, where heaven and the earth intermingle; the realm of interaction between God and man. God wants His children to live and operate from this realm. John, “Come up hither and I will show you what must take place after now” (Rev.4: 1) – This was an invitation to the realm of the supernatural.
As children of God, we have been empowered to command supernatural results in every area of our endeavor. This is the God kind of result – extraordinary results and excellent result.
The mark of God is excellence, and at new birth, the recipient is impacted with that spirit which makes him/her outstanding. In the book of 2kings 6:119, we see the story of Elisha, his servant and the invading army which confirms the existence of a supernatural realm. “And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do? ” So, he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. You too can operate at this level.
This is supposed to be our normal level of operation as children of the most high. The charge today is for us to strive to apply the biblical principle which would launch us to operate in the supernatural realm and it is very possible.
The supernatural is a realm where things that do not exist come into existence.
Prayer Point: Open my eyes oh lord that I may behold the wonders you have prepared for those who love you.
