SHOULD I STILL WAIT?

MARCH 9 SATURDAY

SHOULD I STILL WAIT?

Main text: Psalm 27:14 (KJV) – “Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord”

Second text: Psalm 62:5 (KJV) – „My soul wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him”.

Even though God places a special blessing for waiting, yet, it is one of the most difficult exhortations of the scripture. I don’t know anyone who likes to wait. Do you? Waiting is a hard work, at times, can even test our faith just like Abraham and Sarah. In one time or the other, we have prayer and waited for something from God. Nevertheless, God has a perfect timing to be gracious to you. That is why you should keep waiting and keep trusting Him.

Don’t go running to Egypt for salvation. At a time Abraham and Sarah thought of helping God; hence, Ishmael came. However, it is easy to doubt what has been said when a little time has passed from when He spoke it, especially when situations keep looking darker.

Remember, God does not make empty promises. If He said it, He means it and He will do it. Though our difficult circumstances may not change easily, but as we wait on God and put our hope in Him rather than hoping in a change of situation, we will find that He is more than enough for us.

WAIT WITHOUT ANXIETY!

Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, see me through my waiting season in Jesus name.
