DON’T FRUSTRATE GOD’S GRACE
MAIN TEXT: JAMES 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by Grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God‖ not of works, least any man should boast‖.
Beloved, Grace is the power of God available to meet our needs, without any cost on us. The Grace of God is not complicated or confusing, it is simple. So don‘t frustrate God‘s Grace.
Grace is powerful, it gives salvation and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Fellowship with God and all victory in our daily lives is based upon it. Without Grace, we are nothing; we have nothing, and we can do nothing. If you and I will allow the Grace of God to have full reign in our lives, nothing will be impossible to us.
Apostle Paul offers this, by saying ―I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me‖ That is only possible by the grace of God. ―Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless men and fall from your secured position. But grow in Grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ‖ (2 Peter 3:17-18).
His Grace and knowledge make you live above sin. His Grace is sufficient for you, an underserved favour. The bible tells us that, it is by Grace through faith that you and I are saved, and made partakers of God’s blessings. You get frustrated when you try to live by works, not by faith and Grace. When you get into a situation that troublesome, begin to say ―O lord, give me grace‖.
Then believe that God has heard your prayer and is answering that payer. We need to trust in and rely on the grace of God
WE CAN FRUSTRATE GRACE WITH SIN
Prayer Point: O Lord God, help me to grow in your Grace upon my life in Jesus name Amen.
