LIVING BY REVELATION
Main text: Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die;
Living by revelation is taking a position of advantage in life over the devil and evil. Divine revelation makes one relevant and ahead of challenging times. A life without revelation keeps one wandering in the dark or settling for mediocrity.
To live by revelation, we must live by the Spirit of God’s leadership. There is the leadership by the Holy Spirit and adhering to this leadership does not only make you a leader but commands excellence on everything you do by the help of God’s Spirit. Living without revelation is a life in the flesh which leads to death and stagnation.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit leads us directly. The Holy Spirit can choose to act in any way and according to any time table that he wishes; we do not dictate to him how or when he will move. Our duty is to be available and attentive to the prompting or move of the Spirit for us to follow.
The Holy Spirit is the revealer, He reveals secrets to us. This includes business secrets and secrets of the enemies. “And when the Holy Spirit shall come, he will teach you all things” – John 14:26. Living by revelation keeps us alive in the light. As God is not taking unawares, so shall we live with knowledge and strong conviction.

PRAYERS: Precious Spirit of God, come and lead my life and give me the grace to keep you in my life.
