PURSUE YOUR MANDATEMAIN TEXT: JOHN 4:34 (KJV)
“Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work”
Ephesians 5:16 – “redeeming the time, for the days are evil”.
Every human being created of God has a mission, purpose, and destiny to fulfill. Nobody is here by chance, from the womb, the Lord knows us, and assignments were given. Jeremiah 1:5 is applicable to everybody created by God.
The question now is do we know our purpose of creation? Have we discovered our God given mandate to fulfill. Pursuing secular vocations are good but the most important is the God given mandate.
Jesus knew his mandate, purpose and mission and he worked hard and fulfilled it. Eccl. 3:17 talks about a time, and for every purpose and for every work, which God will bring to judgment. We should therefore make haste to discover our mission purpose and pursue it and fulfill it.
Our mandate is to do the will of the father, and to finish it like our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who set the pace.
DO NOT BE SLOTHFUL, BE UP AND DOING
Prayer point: Oh God, give me the grace to discover my mission, purpose and to fulfill it in Jesus Name.
