HASTE – KILLER OF DREAMS
Main Text: Ecclesiastes 3:1
“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven”
Hebrews 6:12 – That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
No matter how long it takes, believe in the power of time. No matter how long it takes, wait for the expectation. Life is lived in seasons. Your season of breakthrough will come. Premature victory is dangerous.
There is a time to make things happen and a time to let things happen. Wait for the God that cannot lie. Wait for God-ordained season. It’s so near and it will come with a very loud evidence.
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose. Even though the wine at the marriage feast in Cana went dry and the mother of Jesus insisted that He does something, he told her that His time has not come. Jesus waited for His time to come before a miracle came forth.
Jesus knew that Lazarus was sick, yet He did not panic of the sickness of His friend Lazarus, hence He did not rush to his sick bed, as people would do. He waited till His time had come before going to Bethany. God will never panic or rush to do a miracle because of our worry, tears or anxiety. At due time Lazarus came to life because God is the Alpha and Omega.
