JESUS: THE ONLY HOPE
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 25:1 – Unto thee O Lord do I lift up my soul.
Psalm 42:2 – My soul thirsteth for God, for the Living God when shall I come and appear before God.
Hope is found in the promises God has given us – promises of freedom from sin. We can find so much hope in the gift of eternal life made possible through his Son; Jesus Christ. Beloved, no matter what trials, temptations or pain we may suffer, we can always hold unto the hope that God extends to us.
Jesus Christ remains our only sure hope. When you are down cast, put your trust in God and shut out all channels that can weigh you down spiritually and physically, He will see to it that you rise again. As a child of God, our souls should always thirst after God because the absence of this thirst creates environment for Satan.
Psalm 42:11 says, “why art thou cast down, o my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance and my God. Here the word of God encourages us to hope on God even in that heart break, set back and disappointment you are facing,
Remember to hold on to the word of God and prayerfully claim the promises of God for yourself.
