The dictionary describes ”goal” as the terminal point of a race towards which effort is directed. There is a saying that the tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching the goal but in not having a goal to reach. Goals give us clear directions on where we are going as well as a platform on which to build our foundations.
there is where it becomes expedient or necessary to ask, to seek and pray fervently for the Holy Spirit to give you God’s guidance on each step as you set goals. Matthew 7:7. Ensure that you set goals that are reachable, realistic and within human potentials. Make sure that you are in God’s will or you will miss the purpose for your life – James 1:5
Have the attitude of King Solomon who prayerfully pleaded with God for wisdom to succeed in the task before him and God answered him – 1Kings 3:9. Do not rely too much on your understanding but connect it God and follow His instructions to your mind.
