SATAN REMAINS THE LOSER

Main text: Rev 18:20 – Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her.

1John 3:8 – He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

There are many true things that could be said about the Devil and one of them is that at the end, he will lose. The Bible makes it absolutely clear that the Devil knows his fate and it seems to be one of the reasons he is bent on rage and destruction of the people of God. Satan knows that he cannot win against the Lord Jesus (although he tries his hardest), and as a result he tries to take out as many of the people of God as possible. As Jesus told us, (the devil does not come except to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) and he takes out his rage upon the children of God.

Even in his unbridled wrath, Satan looses every time.
Satan is the “designated loser”. In his every attempt to defy Good and ruin his plans, Satan did what turned out to advance God’s plan. We all know the story of Satan rebelling against God, how he led some of the spirit beings in rebellion, he only succeeded in condemning himself and those who followed him.

In the Garden of Eden, Satan tries to turn humanity against their Creator and to destroy the glory of God displayed in the human race. He failed because at the end, it didn’t turn out the way he planned rather Satan had unwittingly set the stage for God to reveal his plan of redemption. Satan must have felt successful when the human race fell into rebellion in the time of Noah, but God sent a great flood bringing judgment upon those who rebelled against the Creator.

After the flood, Good renewed his promise to his people and a new age began with greater understanding of God’s glory, grace and power. In so many attempts Satan made, he fails.
Jesus is the victor who defeated Satan with a total knockout punch. If Satan tries to turn the world into anarchy, the Lord Jesus will still subdue him. There is no work of the devil that Jesus Christ does not overpower. In the end, the Creator shows His great power over His creation, and His sovereignty.

SATAN REMAINS A LOSER AND CONTINUES TO BE A FAILURE.

Prayer: I pray that every attempt of the enemy upon my life will end unsuccessful in Jesus name.
