PICK UP THE CALL (2)

Main text: Jeremiah 1:5 – ‘Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations’.

Exodus 3:4 – And when Jehovah saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, here am I.

God consciously and intentionally crafted you into his will and purpose. In your creation, He thoughtfully made you with distinct qualities to serve him on earth. In your attitude, behave as one who is on assignment and not a fugitive of God.

Knowing that you were created by God for an assignment on earth, when the call of God comes on you for your duty, you need to answer it. Answering the call can be through serving as an usher, a chorister, a pastor or a sanctuary keeper in the church. Every individual was created uniquely and with specific assignment from God.

When God designates you for an assignment, he doesn’t abandon you rather he watches over you and guides you closely to ensure you do not fail.
The God who created you understands your strengths and weaknesses therefore, stop running from God and seeking other ungodly ways. When you run from God, you run a risk of departing from the grace of God over your life.

You cannot attain maturity in God without going through the training that comes with seeking to fulfill your God given purpose on earth.

TAKE HIS YOKE UPON. IT IS EASY

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to be attentive to your call and seek to fulfill my purpose on earth in Jesus name. Amen
