SOW A GOOD SEED

SOW A GOOD SEED

Main Text: Proverbs 11:18 – The wicked worketh a deceitful work; but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward”.

Galatians 6:8 – ‘For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting”.

We’ve all heard the saying “you reap what you sow”; it always sounds like a kind of threat; isn’t it? It’s often used as a warning tone or thrown into conversation about others or after a display of unacceptable behaviour. And yet it is true.

Small and ordinary as a seed may be, is faithful and reliable in doing what God meant it to do when sown. It might be very ordinary to put aside a small amount of your money to help a less-privilege get an education or medical aid. It might equally be very unremarkable to give your time and labour to help others do some works they cannot handle alone. Yet, no matter how ordinary it seems to you, there is no ordinary seed in the sight of God (see Matthew. 10:42)

As we progress in life, let us determine to sow good seed daily. Even if they go unnoticed, life will start to change. Sow spiritual seeds according to our inside text; give yourself, your finances, talents and time to support mission work, to reach the unreached for Christ.

YOUR SEED OF TODAY IS YOUR HARVEST TOMORROW!

Prayer: Oh God my father, guide me always to sow the right seed for my tomorrow in Jesus name!
