DOES GOD REALLY UNDERSTAND?
Main text: Isaiah 53:5 – But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
Psalm 121:1 – 3 – I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
When we face challenges or crises, the foremost thing to do is to seek counsel from someone who understands your condition. It is believed that they usually have had first hand experience or knowledge of the right antidote to solve the problem. In this case, God is our ultimate counsellor. He understands what we are passing through because He designed (created) us and understands our chemistry.
From our main text, Christ saw the pain and suffering ahead of time and gave up his life so we can live a painless life. Jesus endured horrific pain and excruciating agony in our place. Yes, Jesus understands our pain because He suffered for our liberation. In your challenges or trials, remember that God understands it all and He loves you. Just like King David recognised where His salvation comes – Psalm 121, always run to God in prayer for comfort because HE KNOWS.
CAST ALL YOUR CARE ON GOD BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU
Prayer: My father, thank you for loving me first. I pray that you comfort me even in this trying time in Jesus name. Amen
