CHRIST; MY BATTLE AXE PART 2
Main text: Jeremiah 51:20- Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;
2 Corinthians 10:4 – For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
We’re in a battle in this world. We may not see it, we might forget it’s there. And the enemy would love nothing more than for us to live unaware, filling out lives with discouragement and defeat, bringing fear and stress, stirring up busyness and strife and that’s why God reminds us not to fight without being prepared and equipped for battle. He tells us to take up His full armour inorder to stand against the enemy’s schemes. Each piece has a purpose and is designed for our protection and covering.
God intends that you as a christian should live a holy life so that you can be used as vessels unto honour, as instrument of warfare to bring victory and glory to His kingdom continually. Make God your battle axe and always be ready at all times to fight spiritual and physical battles.
VICTORY IS ON THE SIDE OF GOD.
Prayer: O LORD, crush the weapons of the enemy and deliver me from the attacks of the enemy today in Jesus name. Amen.
