GOD, ARE YOU THERE?
MAIN TEXT: 1 PETER 3: 12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer.
Hebrews 13:5 – Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.
From the time we were kids, we likely imagined God in paradise peering down at us and paying attention to our basic youngster petitions. However, as we got more established and encountered a portion of the difficulties throughout everyday life, we thought about how well God was paying attention to us, especially when he doesn’t react right away.
We need to trust Him and trust that in the waiting, His perfect will is being worked out. During those occasions when we feel God is quiet, God’s consideration is consistently on you and fortunately He is working in the waiting.
God is ever with you more than you can feel or see Him around you. Don’t allow the heat and pressures of life to suffocate your faith in God or becloud your spiritual perception about God. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” 1 John 5:14.
YOU WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THE STORMS
PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, walk me out through the valleys of death, darkness and loneliness. Amen
