CHRIST THE SOLID FOUNDATION
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 18:2
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Acts 4:12 – “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
A song writer and composer, composed a song to illustrate the unfailing power of Jesus Christ to those that put absolute trust in Him and he put it in this manner “On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.”
It is foolishness to rely and build your life and family on any other foundation. It’s like trying to cover the moon with your palms. Every other foundation is sinking sand that will surely collapse and experience total destruction.
Sometimes, to build your life on the solid Rock may take moments of waiting and thorough work. The temptation to abandon the solid Rock will come but keep on building your life on Christ alone. When the test of life will come, you that built your life, family, name and business in Christ will not only survive the storms but you will outlive others who built on falsehood, sin and the devil.
PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE PERSON, POWER AND THE PRESENCE OF JESUS CHRIST
PRAYER: I repent of building on strange foundations, Jesus Christ deliver me. Let the foundation of Christ destroy evil foundations attacking me and seeking my downfall.
