INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
MAIN TEXT: Romans 8:15 – For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
Hosea 6:6 – For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice,
And in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
A key secret of those who finish well is to focus more on loving Jesus than on avoiding sin. The more we love Jesus, the more we will learn to put our confidence in Him alone.
It is very important that we have an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. When we so value His Presence with us, and the relationship that we have with Him, that we cannot bear for anything to come between us. The Holy Spirit loves you beyond your imagination.
An intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit will make you to be mission minded than ambition driven. Without Holy Spirit you will be obsessed with titles, positions and ranks. With Holy Spirit you care about your calling, purpose and mission.
IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT MAKES US BECOME SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIANS
PRAYER: In the name of Jesus Christ, Abba Father deal and remove habits that fight against my intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. Amen
