*WHY TREMBLE ? Part 1
MAIN TEXT: Isaiah 44:8 – Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
When the Bible tells us “why tremble”, it simply means that we are not to allow anxiety or fretfulness to rule out lives or take root in our hearts. We are not to be people of panic, rather to be people of faith.
Everyone experiences fear in their life. There are big fears we are very aware of and little ones we may not even realize we have. For fear is a tool devil uses against us to make us miserable and destroy our lives.
It begins as a thought and then create emotions that can destroy us. It often becomes a strong intense feeling that tries to move us to make a foolish action or tries to prevent us from doing something that would be good for us. Trembling is a common way that satan attracts people’s lives. Planting fear in that persoy. I think of it as the master spirit he uses to manipulate people and lay them out of God’s will. Face your fears with the word of God today.
STRANGE FEELINGS ARE NOT REAL, DON’T ACCEPT THEM BUT HOLD ON TO GOD
Prayer: Father, I come before you to lay my panic and anxiety at your feet. When am crushed by my fears and worries, remind me of your power and your grace. Fill me with peace as I trust in you and you alone. Amen
